Only retailers are able to send asset requests from the shotfarm system. From the "Manage > Asset Requests" page, click the Make New Request button.
Use the Request Assets form to send a request directly to a supplier. You will need to know their email address to send the request. You have options to set a deadline and automated reminders for the receipient. The supplier will get an email and the request will show up in their account to be acted upon.
Once you have made Asset Requests a request log will show up that is sortable and searchable. Your request log will automatically display requests sent and received, first to last. Requests that are waiting for fulfillment will be marked No, those completed will be marked Yes, and those that have been forwarded (by the original recipient) will be marked Fwd. The sender and recipient for each request, along with their respective companies, will be listed in the To and From columns. You will also see the Subject, the Deadline, and a Complete Status.
Once a request is fulfilled, you will still be able to view it by clicking on the Subject, but will not be able to take any action on it. Viewing a fulfilled request will show you which LightBox was used to fulfill it.
For requests that are still open, you have the option to Edit the request which will send an update to the request recipient.
